Football Recap: Robertsdale Golden Bears vs. Bryant Hurricanes
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Robertsdale's offense. They were beaten by the Bryant Hurricanes 47-0 on Tuesday. The Golden Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
A big part of Bryant's win came down to the chemistry between Mari-Margret Grayson and her top target Madi-Mari Grayson. Mari-Margret rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries while Madi-Mari picked up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Madi-Mari also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending two passes.
Robertsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bryant, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Robertsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bryant, they will square off against Rain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bryant will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
