Basketball Game Preview: Lakeside Eagles vs. Pullman Greyhounds

Lakeside is 0-6 against Pullman since December of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Lakeside Eagles will take on the Pullman Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lakeside took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Tenino by a score of 52-39. The score was all tied up 20-20 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Pullman earned a 63-52 win over St. George's on Monday.

Pullman pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Lakeside, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Things could have been worse for Lakeside, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-41 loss to Pullman in their previous meeting back in January. Can Lakeside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
