Baseball Game Preview: Har-Ber Wildcats vs. Bentonville West Wolverines

For the second straight game, Har-Ber will face off against Bentonville West. The Wildcats will take on the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Har-Ber is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Har-Ber is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Bentonville West just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Wolverines.

For Bentonville West's part, Will Geiger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits. Geiger also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Wolverines are 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Jeremiah Jones was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Damion Bridgeman also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Har-Ber's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Bentonville West, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-13 record.
