Softball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood lost against North Moore back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Northwood might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to North Moore, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwood's record now sits at 3-8. As for North Moore, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Northwood and North Moore could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Northwood will square off against Jordan-Matthews at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday down 204 places (351 vs. 147). Meanwhile, North Moore (ranked 160th) will meet Southwestern Randolph (ranked 45th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
