The North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators are taking a road trip to square off against the Arete Prep CHARGERS at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy's defense has only allowed 25 points per game this season, so Arete Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Patagonia by a score of 31-24.

Lainey Wakeham and Alexandra Price were among the main playmakers for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy as the former dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards and the latter dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. That's the most boards Price has posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Arete Prep beat Chandler Prep 44-32 on Tuesday.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.1 points per game. As for Arete Prep, their record is now 9-11.
