Football Game Preview: Mt. Mansfield vs. Brattleboro

Brattleboro had trouble last week, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Mt. Mansfield on Saturday at 3:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close match.

Brattleboro came up short against Colchester, falling 19-27. This makes it the second loss in a row for Brattleboro.

Meanwhile, Mt. Mansfield faced Bellows Free Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mt. Mansfield walked away with a 30-21 win.

Mt. Mansfield's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Brattleboro's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Mt. Mansfield can add another positive mark to their record or if Brattleboro can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mt. Mansfield's step.
