Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Maple Heights). They put the hurt on the Harvey Red Raiders with a sharp  104-81 victory on Tuesday. Given the Mustangs' advantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings  (they are ranked 173rd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 614th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
Maple Heights was led to victory by  Mike Banks and  Andre McCullough.  Banks  went 8 of 13  en route to 29  points and five  rebounds, while  McCullough  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 11  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kalin Allen, who  went 5 for 11  on his way to 11 points along with five  assists and five  boards.
 Maple Heights was working as a unit and  finished the game with 28  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Harvey's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Neiman Booker, who  went 7 of 8  en route to 17  points, and  Deontae Ware, who  went 8 for 13  on his way to 20 points. Ware's evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points.  Jaidyn Turner was another key player,  putting up ten  points.
The  win was  the fourth in a row for Maple Heights, bringing their record for this year to 8-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 81.8 points per game. As for Harvey, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record  this season.
 Maple Heights has already played their next game,  a  75-50  victory against Shaw on the 29th. As for Harvey, they will head out to  face off against Orange  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Harvey's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last five matchups.
