Soccer Game Preview: Kamiak vs. Arlington

The Kamiak Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Arlington Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Arlington took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kamiak, who comes in off a win.

Kamiak can't be too worried about heading out to take on Arlington: they just beat Lake Stevens at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Vikings 2-1. That's two games straight that Kamiak have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mariner.

The win made it two in a row for Kamiak and bumps their season record up to 7-5-2. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2.

Kamiak came out on top in a nail-biter against Arlington in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
