Basketball Recap: Woodbine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Paton-Churdan last Monday, Woodbine came back down to earth. The Woodbine Tigers fell 60-49 to the Westwood Rebels on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 56-46 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Woodbine's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Woodbine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-49 victory against Boyer Valley on the 13th. As for Westwood, they are taking a road trip to square off against Panorama on Tuesday.
