Softball Recap: Herkimer Comes Up Short

Herkimer was the 25-5 winner over Clinton when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Magicians fell just short of the Comets by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Herkimer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Clinton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Herkimer and Clinton will both be playing Cooperstown the next time they take the field. The Magicians will host the Hawkeyes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Comets will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
