Basketball Game Preview: Language & Tech vs. IN-Tech Academy

Language & Tech will head out to face off against IN-Tech Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Language & Tech ended up a good deal behind Frederick Douglass Academy III and lost 65-50. Language & Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, IN-Tech Academy had to suffer through a 99-63 loss at the hands of Frederick Douglass Academy III. While losing is never fun, IN-Tech Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 887th, while Frederick Douglass Academy III is ranked 382nd).

Language & Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for IN-Tech Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Language & Tech got the 'W' when the teams last played back in December of 2025 against IN-Tech Academy by a conclusive 45-25 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Language & Tech since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
