Softball Game Preview: Unity Christian Knights vs. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS

The Unity Christian Knights will challenge the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Unity Christian will be strutting in after a win while Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Unity Christian's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Sioux Central. Considering the Knights have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley came up short against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Saturday, falling 13-3.

Unity Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
