Volleyball Recap: New Covenant Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

New Covenant Academy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Eye Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-17.

Addison Cuquet paced New Covenant Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cuquet got some help from Addy Mouery and her 13 assists. Kiera Edwards controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Blue Eye had strong showings from Mekinlee Spinning, who had seven digs and two aces, and Alyssa Dickelman, who had 14 digs.

New Covenant Academy's victory bumped their record up to 22-4-3. As for Blue Eye, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-7-3.

New Covenant Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Chadwick on the 17th. As for Blue Eye, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Purdy on the 17th.
