Softball Recap: Boerne-Champion Takes a Loss

Boerne-Champion was the 13-5 winner over Pieper when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Boerne-Champion Chargers fell 12-8 to the Pieper Warriors on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Chargers have lost by exactly four runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Boerne-Champion and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Pieper, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Coming up, Boerne-Champion will head out on the road to take on New Braunfels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Braunfels is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Pieper, they will host Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
