Basketball Recap: Midlothian Comes Up Short

Midlothian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Randall Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 52-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Midlothian's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Randall, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Midlothian has already played their next contest, an 89-43 defeat against Byron Nelson on the 4th. As for Randall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-35 victory against Granbury on the 4th.
