Volleyball Game Preview: Roosevelt Cougars vs. South Shore Vikings

The Roosevelt Cougars will face off against the South Shore Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Roosevelt is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Midwood just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Hornets. The game marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, South Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Erasmus Hall.

South Shore's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Roosevelt beat South Shore 2-0 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
