Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Trinity Christian Eagles, falling 69-28. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1546th, while the Eagles are ranked 374th).

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Trinity Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge Lubbock Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lubbock Christian will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Trinity surely won't give up without a fight. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out to face off against Lake Country Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
