North Valleys is 9-1 against Wooster since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Panthers will square off against the Colts at 10:00 a.m. North Valleys will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

North Valleys is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Truckee 19-0 on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

Maddie Rebell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Rebell was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, North Valleys got a massive performance out of Caylee Soap, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Soap also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Gainey, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

North Valleys always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Wooster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-1 to South Tahoe.

Wooster's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Valleys, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

North Valleys took their win against Wooster when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
