Xavier is 8-2 against Dubuque Senior since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Xavier Saints will host the Dubuque Senior Rams at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Xavier has seven straight victories, Dubuque Senior has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Xavier was able to grind out a solid win over Washington, taking the game 73-62. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Warriors are ranked 117th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Dubuque Senior took a blow against Wahlert on Friday, falling 69-38.

Xavier has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.1 points. As for Dubuque Senior, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything came up roses for Xavier against Dubuque Senior in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 61-24 victory. Will Xavier repeat their success, or does Dubuque Senior have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
