Basketball Recap: Borger Takes a Loss

Borger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Pampa Harvesters 71-25. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Borger lost, don't look at Tahqulin Brooks. Despite the final result, he posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. That was a full 36% of Borger's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Borger's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Pampa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Borger will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Dumas at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Pampa and Hereford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
