Soccer Recap: NorthPointe Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Godwin Heights on Monday, NorthPointe Christian came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Fruitport Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

NorthPointe Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Fruitport, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NorthPointe Christian will take on Belding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. NorthPointe Christian will be up against Belding's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fruitport, they will challenge Calvin Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
