 Westlake has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  square off against the Blind Brook Trojans at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Westlake will head into Tuesday's  game out to bounce back: they came back down to earth  on Tuesday after soaring to a nine-run match in their last game. They fell just short of Croton-Harmon by a score of  5-3.
  Mark Mastracchio made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Blind Brook is still looking for their season's first win. They took  a  10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Port Chester on Saturday.
 Westlake has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season. As for Blind Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Westlake might still be hurting after the  12-0 defeat they got from Blind Brook  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. Can Westlake avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
