Basketball Recap: Danville Christian Academy Skates Past Southwestern with Ease

Danville Christian Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past Southwestern 76-47. Danville Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 26 points or more this season.

Southwestern's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mckaila Monroe, who posted 12 points, and Jessalyn Flynn, who earned 11 points and five rebounds. Flynn continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Danville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Southwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12.

Danville Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-48 win against Rockcastle County on the 8th. Southwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
