Baseball Recap: Thomas Dale Wins Going Away Against Meadowbrook

Thomas Dale barely beat Meadowbrook the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Monarchs on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Harrison Sheetz looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Thomas Dale's success: when he allows at most two hits the team is 2-1 (and 2-6 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Thomas Dale got a massive performance out of Jordan Brown, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Brown a new career-high. Caden Stancil was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Thomas Dale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.

Thomas Dale's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Meadowbrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
