Volleyball Recap: Dalton's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dalton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Northwestern Huskies by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Dalton was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 26-28, 25-21, 25-19.

Sara Geibel paced Dalton's offense, picking up 18 kills. Geibel got some help from Mya Geiser and her 38 assists. Hannah Wenger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Northwestern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dalton will challenge rival Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northwestern is set to square off against their familiar foe Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
