Soccer Game Preview: Cartersville vs. Southeast Whitfield County

The Cartersville Hurricanes will head out on the road to take on the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Cartersville is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Ringgold on Monday as Cartersville made off with an 8-2 victory. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Southeast Whitfield County kept a clean sheet against Hiram on Tuesday. They blew past the Hornets 7-0. Considering the Raiders' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Southeast Whitfield County's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Cartersville, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
