Softball Recap: Pflugerville Comes Up Short

Pflugerville lost against Weiss back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pflugerville Panthers took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weiss Wolves. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Braelynn Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Ayrianna Rodriguez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Pflugerville's record now sits at 4-12-1. As for Weiss, they moved to 9-10 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Coming up, Pflugerville will head out on the road to challenge Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Georgetown will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pflugerville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Weiss, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Pflugerville Connally has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.19 runs per game on average), something Weiss will no doubt try to take advantage of.
