Baseball Game Preview: Eau Gallie Commodores vs. Rockledge Raiders

The Eau Gallie Commodores will square off against the Rockledge Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Eau Gallie has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Eau Gallie had taken Melbourne down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Commodores fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2.

Carson Lietz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rockledge had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Pirates. Considering the Raiders have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Eau Gallie's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7. As for Rockledge, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-11.

Eau Gallie was able to grind out a solid victory over Rockledge when the teams last played last Friday, winning 5-0. Will the Commodores repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
