There's no place like home for Copiah Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top against the Silliman Institute Wildcats by a score of 18-8 on Friday. Those 18 points were actually the fewest the Colonels have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Copiah Academy's record now sits at 4-1. As for Silliman Institute, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Copiah Academy will welcome Simpson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Silliman Institute, they will be playing at home against Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Green Wave's rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
