Football Recap: Axtell Piles Up the Points Against Iola

There's no place like home for Axtell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They breezed past the Iola Bulldogs to the tune of 47-7 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Longhorns also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Axtell now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Iola, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Axtell will square off against Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Iola, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Milano at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
