Basketball Recap: Groesbeck Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hearne on Thursday, Groesbeck came back down to earth. The Goats fell 49-42 to the Jarrell Cougars on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Goats in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Groesbeck's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Jarrell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Groesbeck has already played their next game, a 37-34 victory against C.H. Yoe on the 5th. As for Jarrell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-13 win against Hearne on the 5th.
