After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eagle Valley, Summit was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Delta Panthers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Summit was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (97-94), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 26-24, 27-25.

Saige Heflin paced Summit's offense, picking up 11 kills. Heflin got some help from Reese Melby and her 20 assists. Melby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
