Last Monday, Harmony Science Academy came up short against Texas Empowerment Academy and fell 49-41.

Despite the loss, Harmony Science Academy had strong showings from Issa Well, who posted 16 points and seven blocks, and Reese Herd, who put up eight points and seven assists. Well has become a key player for Harmony Science Academy: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least five blocks, but 0-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateen Bandali, who had six points.

Meanwhile, Meridian hadn't done well against NYOS Charter recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Meridian was the clear victor by a 54-32 margin over NYOS Charter. The Lions pushed the score to 46-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Jaguars cut but never quite recovered from.

Harmony Science Academy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Meridian, their record is now 4-6.

Harmony Science Academy came up short against Meridian in their previous meeting back in January, falling 54-50. Can Harmony Science Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
