Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Belton). They snuck past the Truman Patriots with a 75-69 win on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Belton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gaven Blaise, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points along with eight assists and four steals. Blaise has become a key player for Belton: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 7-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Maiden, who shot 64% from the field en route to 19 points.

Belton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points over those games. As for Truman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-12.

As of now, neither Belton nor Truman have any future games scheduled.
