Volleyball Recap: Grace Carrier and Audrey Besperat Secure Win for Carl Junction

Carl Junction won the last time they faced Bolivar and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Liberators 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Carl Junction never let Bolivar on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Carl Junction was led to victory by Audrey Besperat and Grace Carrier. Besperat had 14 assists and ten digs, while Carrier had 16 digs. That's the most assists Besperat has posted over her last six matchups. Kiley Smith also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Carl Junction's record is now 12-10. As for Bolivar, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12-3 record this season.

Carl Junction didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against St. Mary's-Colgan on the 4th. As for Bolivar, they will square off against Branson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
