It's playoff time, and Midway had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Flower Mound Jaguars a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 21 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Midway is on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Flower Mound, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 25-8-1 record.

Midway will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
