Volleyball Recap: Timberland Takes a Loss

Timberland suffered their biggest loss since April 10th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Howell North Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 1st.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Callen Taylor paced Timberland's offense, picking up eight kills. Taylor got some help from Daniel Fumagalli and his ten assists.

Timberland has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Howell North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Timberland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Ladue Horton Watkins on the 25th. As for Howell North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Liberty on the 30th.
