Basketball Recap: Trinity Piles Up the Points Against Beachwood

Trinity won the last time they faced Beachwood and things went their way on Monday too. The Trinity Trojans claimed a resounding 55-21 victory over the Beachwood Bison. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

Nevaeh Harrison was the offensive standout of the game as she posted seven points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. Iniya Charlton was another key player, putting up ten points.

Trinity was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beachwood only posted three assists.

When it comes to explaining why Beachwood lost, don't look at Goldi Aschkenasy. Despite the final result, she scored ten points and seven rebounds. Aschkenasy is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last seven games she's played.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Beachwood, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Trinity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-32 victory against Lutheran West on the 15th. Beachwood has also already played their next match, a 42-24 loss against Independence on the 18th.
