Baseball Recap: Coral Gables Has No Trouble Against Gulliver Prep

Coral Gables's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Gulliver Prep Raiders with a sharp 8-2 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Julian Saveedra spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kevon Caffey was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Ranfhier Gonzalez was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.
