Baseball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Lamar Tigers. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Seneca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Monett on the 23rd. As for Lamar, they will take on Columbus at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
