Softball Recap: North Myrtle Beach Takes a Loss

North Myrtle Beach lost against Conway last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conway Tigers. The matchup marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Myrtle Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kirali Altena, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Altena brought in this season.

This is the second loss in a row for North Myrtle Beach and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Conway, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, North Myrtle Beach will be playing at home against West Florence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Myrtle Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Conway, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Latta at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th.
