Volleyball Recap: East Leopards vs. Olympus Titans

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Olympus Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-2, 25-12.

Christopher Linschoten paced East's offense, picking up two kills. Linschoten got some help from Nefi Arguelles and his three assists.

East's loss dropped their record down to 0-26. As for Olympus, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. East is set to challenge their familiar foe Brighton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Olympus will face off against rival Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
