Volleyball Preview: Haslett Vikings vs. Mason Bulldogs
Haslett has been away from home for seven games now, but on Monday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Mason Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Haslett didn't have quite enough to beat Almont and fell 2-1.
Meanwhile, Mason entered their contest against Lansing Catholic on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Mason fell just short of Lansing Catholic by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Mason sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 15-10.
Haslett dropped their record down to 1-7-2 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mason, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1.
