Basketball Recap: Great Falls Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Great Falls Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Roy/Winifred Outlaws, falling 60-29. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 69-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Jordan Flansburg, Carter Warren, and Ben Morning Star posted six points each.

Great Falls Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Roy/Winifred, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Great Falls Central Catholic will head out to take on Hobson/Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Great Falls Central Catholic is facing Hobson/Moore at the right time seeing as Hobson/Moore is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Roy/Winifred, they will venture away from home to square off against Centerville at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
