Baseball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Cornerstone Christian had won four straight at home, but on Saturday they bumped their record up to 6-13 to make it five. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Unity Christian Lions. The Cyclones not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 17th (when they won 16-1).

The team relied heavily on Josh Kursell, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. Cornerstone Christian is 2-1 when Kursell posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-12 otherwise. Jack Kursell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
