Volleyball Recap: Quinter Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Quinter had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hill City Ringnecks.

Quinter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Shaylee Baalman paced Quinter's offense, picking up 13 kills. Baalman got some help from Kendyl Johnson and her 25 assists.

Quinter's win bumped their record up to 26-10. As for Hill City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-25 record this season.

Quinter has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Decatur Community on the 25th. Hill City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
