Caden Olson Dazzles in Stevenson Victory

Starting off the list is Stevenson's Caden Olson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Olson picked up 262 receiving yards and three touchdowns. His longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards.

Stevenson pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Coming up, Olson and the Pirates will head out to challenge Monte Vista Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Garrett Kuska was instrumental in extending Pacific Grove's winning streak to three on Saturday. Kuska turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 110 yards and three scores on only 11 carries.

Pacific Grove's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. Coming up, Kuska and the Breakers will head out on the road to face off against Watsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Garcia Made His Presence Known in Everett Alvarez's 29-7 Victory

Everett Alvarez found a leader in Roman Garcia as the team took down Watsonville on Friday. Garcia was unstoppable, rushing for 139 yards on only 12 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making six total tackles.

Everett Alvarez's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. Looking ahead, Garcia and the Eagles will face off against North Monterey County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Fin Mink Posts Best Passing Yard Performance Since Back in October of 2024

Fin Mink put up the most passing yards he's had since back in October of 2024 on Saturday. He threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt.

This year, Mink has thrown 10 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 251 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after three games last season, he was only averaging 2.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 26.33 rushing yards.

Antonio Borgomini Goes Supernova in Stevenson Victory

Another Stevenson player making an appearance on this list is Antonio Borgomini. He rushed for 131 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

For the year, Borgomini has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 104.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.
