Recap: Chincoteague Ponies vs. Parkside Rams
After a string of three wins, the Chincoteague Ponies's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Parkside, falling 72-44. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chincoteague has scored all season.
Chincoteague lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jake Harper, who scored 20 points along with five assists. The matchup was Harper's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Harper, who scored ten points along with five assists.
Chincoteague's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-3. As for Parkside, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chincoteague will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
