The Lewiston Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 56-37 bruising from Southern. If Lewiston was looking for revenge after losing 62-47 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tristen Ray, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Rule, who scored 12 points.

Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Southern, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Lewiston's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Raiders on February 6th. As for Southern, they will be playing at home against the Griffin at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
