Soccer Game Preview: Eastlake vs. Mount Si

The Eastlake Wolves will challenge the Mount Si Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

If Mount Si heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Eastlake took over last week. Wolves came out on top against North Creek by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. Given Eastlake's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 44th, while North Creek are ranked 143rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eastlake hit North Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Randy Xia (2), Bruno Perversi, and Hamza Elmetwally.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Si). They blew past Skyline 5-1 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Mount Si with their most commanding win of the season.

Mount Si has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-3 record this season. As for Eastlake, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-2.
